Michaela Lewis received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Gardner-Webb University in 2008. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2015. She completed an Advanced Practice Provider fellowship at Seattle Children's Hospital in November of 2019.

Michaela believes that children deserve every advantage and opportunity to pursue their life's purpose. It is her belief that the provision of excellent health care promotional visits, across the lifespan of the child, as well as episodic medical guidance and support during times of illness encourages the success of the child and the family unit. Her professional interests include hospital medicine, quality improvement, and nursing education and mentorship.

Michaela hails from Fayetteville, NC. She enjoys obtaining new knowledge and skills, reading, weight lifting, yin yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
