Eliaser Ramón Chaparro, MA, LPCC, NCC (he/him/his) is faculty at the University of Colorado's College of Nursing's clinic practice site CU-Sheridan Health Services (SHS) in the Family Health Clinic. In his role as a Spanish-English bilingual behavioral health provider, Ramón offers brief individual counseling for adults in an integrated care setting. His interests include increasing access to culturally responsive behavioral health care for monolingual Spanish-speaking adults, collaborating with community initiatives to advocate for systemic changes that support improved behavioral health outcomes in historically marginalized populations, and implementing strategies to support peer-facilitated psychoeducation in historically underserved communities.

Ramón earned a BA in Religious Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and a MA in Counseling - Multicultural Clinical Mental Health from University of Colorado Denver, and is currently registered in Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and National Certified Counselor.
