Jessica Howard CNM, MSN, MSW, IBCLC

Jessica Howard became a Certified Nurse-Midwife after graduating from Yale University in 2006. She joined the midwifery teams at UCHealth in September, 2010, and has been with Center For Midwifery since 2013. Prior to moving to Colorado, she worked as a CNM in a private practice in Salt Lake, Utah and at Planned Parenthood in Portland, Oregon for several years. Before becoming a Nurse-Midwife, Jessica obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work and worked at the University of Michigan Hospital in Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics and the Emergency Department. She had also served for 2 years in the Peace Corps before entering grad school. Jessica has a specialized interest in working to end violence against women. In addition to nurse-midwifery, she is also a Forensic Nurse Examiner and cares for patients who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She is overjoyed to be on the team of the Center For Midwifery.
