Liz Schwebach serves the College of Nursing as the Program Manager for Recruitment. In her early 20’s, Liz worked as a nursing assistant at a hospital in California until she pursued her Master’s degree in Counseling and Higher Education – with a specialization in Student Affairs. While she used to enjoy hiking big mountains, she now enjoys heckling her kids during their soccer games and challenging her puppy to a game of tug-a-war.
The sport of volleyball brought Liz to college as a first-generation and limited income student. The guidance and support she received allowed her to gain an undying passion towards helping other college students dream big and achieve their goals. Liz still competes in doubles sand volleyball and while she is well past her prime, would challenge you to a game in the Boettcher Commons green space. She appreciates science, healthy life habits, advancements in health and fully believes that a cocktail a day keeps the doctor away.
