Extended Studies FAQs

The residency form is now required for all non-degree, MS, and Certificate seeking students. The information in this form is used for determining the correct rate for billing.

Only students enrolled in the MS/Certificate programs for Nursing Informatics, Veteran and Military Health, and i-LEAD will be considered for the Extended Studies tuition rate. If eligible, the amount owed by these students will be adjusted after the Add/Drop period has ended.

Your tuition will be adjusted after the end of the Add/Drop period for every semester. During the Fall and Spring terms, this date is generally two weeks after the beginning of the term, while during the Summer, this date is at the end of the first week of classes.

Eligible CU employees and their dependents can use the tuition assistance benefit for up to nine credit hours each year for eligible undergraduate or graduate credit-granting courses. Beginning in Fall 2020, courses offered in Nursing Informatics, Veteran and Military Health Care, and i-LEAD will be eligible for this benefit. Beginning Fall 2020, you will find ALL courses listed under the “Anschutz” campus when searching for classes, and you may enroll in any section that has an open seat.
