Jorge M. Vallery Verlenden, PhD, MEd is the Senior Behavioral Scientist in the Division of Adolescent and School Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has spent more than 20 years supporting children, youth, and families in the US and internationally.

Keynote: Transforming Mental Health Care: Lessons from the Global South

Vikram Patel, PhD is The Pershing Square Professor of Global Health at the Harvard Medical School where he leads the Mental Health for All Lab. His work has focused on the burden of mental health problems, their association with social disadvantage, and the use of community resources for their prevention and treatment.
