Accreditation
The University of Colorado College of Nursing offers programs leading to the bachelor of science (BS), master of science (MS), doctor of nursing practice (DNP) and doctor of philosophy (PhD) degrees.
- All College of Nursing degree programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
- The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master's degree in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice and post-graduate APRN certificate at the University of Colorado College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education,

- Nurse-midwifery programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, 2000 Duke St., Ste. 300, Alexandria, VA 22314, 703-835-4565, support@theacme.org.
- PhD programs are not reviewed by nursing accrediting bodies; however, the PhD program is regularly reviewed by the University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus Graduate School. The graduate school and the university are both accredited by
the National Higher Learning Commission.
