Fall 2023 Commencement and Convocation

This ceremony is for all students who are approved for graduation in August or December. More information regarding graduation application, event RSVP and regalia rentals will be posted in the fall.

The diploma application for the December 2023 graduation is now closed. If you have not applied for December graduation, contact the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs (con.studentaffairs@cuanshutz.edu) immediately to discuss options.

Student Information

All students intending to participate in the fall commencement are required to RSVP and purchase regalia by November 1, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. (MST). To order regalia, be sure to click the Herff Jones link at the end of the event RSVP. The December ceremony is open to all approved August and December graduates.

In addition to ordering regalia, you can also use the Herff Jones site to order announcements, graduation souvenirs, and diploma frames.

Important Information for Doctoral Students

Doctoral students will be hooded on stage and will be asked in the RSVP form to indicate your hooder’s name. It is the student’s responsibility to communicate with the hooder to ensure that the faculty member plans to attend the ceremony. Faculty members must confirm their participation by registering through the faculty rsvp website. Doctoral hooding is generally assigned as follows:

Faculty Information

All College of Nursing faculty intending to participate in fall commencement, must complete the faculty RSVP and order regalia (if needed) by November 1, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. The cost for faculty regalia is paid for by the College. Through the registration site, you can note if regalia is needed, if you have your own, or if you have everything except for a hood.
