Peer tutoring

Our students are here to help you, too
CU Nursing offers a free peer tutoring program to all undergraduate students. Our tutors are current CU Nursing students who've successfully completed the same courses you're currently enrolled in, understanding exactly what you're going through. Want to earn money helping others? You can apply to become a tutor after completing the first half of your program.

Book sessions at times that work for you
Sessions are offered online via Zoom or in person based on your schedule. Make sure to come prepared and remember to tell your tutor what subject you want to review.

Additional academic support resources

At CU Nursing, we’re dedicated to your success, and there are many campus resources available to help you along the way.

  • The CU Anschutz Office of Disability, Access, and Inclusion recognizes, welcomes, and celebrates disability as an integral part of a diverse healthcare campus and workforce. They are committed to providing equitable access to our programs
  • Become a more confident writer by visiting the Writing Center. The Writing Center provides services and resources for all writing you may do as a student -- from essays and presentations for class to resumes and cover letters for job applications
  • The Strauss Health Sciences Library is the physical and digital hub of knowledge at CU Anschutz. They offer access to information in support of learning, research, clinical care, and service, while also providing a quiet place to study
  • We also have information about becoming a successful learner while in an online or remote environment
