Mollie Gilbert Brody, CNM: Mollie Gilbert Brody is dedicated to midwifery and connecting with expectant families. She began her career in education then changed her profession to become an acute rehabilitation nurse. After graduating from University of Michigan’s Nurse-Midwife program, she began practicing at Hurley Medical Center. Mollie recently spent two years in Jerusalem, where she apprenticed with a homebirth midwife. She then moved to Colorado to become a Certified Nurse Midwife at the Center for Midwifery -- Anschutz Medical Campus and an instructor at CU College of Nursing. Mollie’s clinical interests include physiologic birth, breastfeeding, postpartum mood disorders, holistic health and contraceptive choices.
She lives with her husband and their four children, all born with midwives. “I am continually in awe of the strength, energy and passion that women possess as they grow and birth a baby!”
