Jorge is a Mexican American, First-Generation college graduate from Aurora Colorado. Jorge has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Media Communication and Ethnic Studies, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education. In previous roles, Jorge has supported the retention, belonging, and student success of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and First-Generation students.
Outside of work, Jorge is a serial hobbyist. Some of his hobbies include wig making, reading tarot cards, and reading young adult fiction.
