Emory is a Colorado-native who has been working as the Academic Success Specialist at the College of Nursing since February 2021. Throughout her years of experience with tutoring, guiding, and volunteering for her community, Emory has developed a true passion for helping others achieve success.
Prior to becoming a member of the Academic Success Team, Emory spent her days as a certified veterinary technician for six years where she helped treat a variety of furry, four-legged patients. She also spent some years at The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at CSU, teaching very nervous veterinary students how to safely anesthetize patients. After deciding to switch out her four-legged companions for the two-legged variety, Emory continues to love teaching, guiding, and coaching in various capacities.
In her free time, Emory loves to take advantage of her Colorado roots and venture into the mountains or chill out in The Mile High City. She is also a huge music buff who could easily talk your ears off about her favorite bands and musicians!
