College of Nursing master's programs nationally recognized
2015 U.S. News & World Report rankings released
College of Nursing Marketing | College of Nursing Mar 12, 2014The University of Colorado College of Nursing has been successful in snagging high rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 edition of Best Graduate Schools. Again this year, the College of Nursing has earned the following rankings:
- 5th in Nurse Practitioner: Pediatric nursing
- 13th in Nursing-Midwifery
- 15th in overall master’s programs
- 16th in Nurse Practitioner: Family nursing
U.S. News & World Report health discipline graduate rankings, including nursing, are based on data collected from peer assessment surveys. Deans, administration and faculty of 467 accredited degree programs in nursing rated the academic quality of other nursing programs.
“We appreciate the continued recognition by U.S. News & World Report and strive for excellence in our graduate programs,” says Linda Flynn, PhD, RN, FAAN, associate dean for academic programs. “This is a nice follow up to our online graduate programs being ranked 10th earlier this year.”
