Our Post-Graduate Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery could be a great match for you if you have a master’s degree in nursing and want to branch out into a new practice area. You’ll help women and people assigned female at birth with their reproductive and primary care needs. Nurse-midwifery allows you to focus on the joys of birth and deliver patient-centered care.

When you finish the program, you can sit for the Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) exam.
We offer Denver- and Aurora-based students guaranteed spots to train at our midwifery clinics. You’ll work alongside faculty who will mentor and guide you through the experience. If you’re in a neighboring state, we can also help you locate clinical placements.
We offer a Rural Midwifery Track scholarship to students who commit to treating patients in rural areas. This scholarship covers full in-state tuition and fees for awardees.

Once you finish the Post-Graduate Certificate Nurse-Midwifery program, you can take the board certification exam through the American Midwifery Certification Board. After passing the exam, you'll be ready to unlock a new career path and scope of practice as a certified nurse-midwife. Nurse-midwives can get licensed to work in all 50 states, including Colorado.

You’ll get 700+ hours of training at one of our nurse-led midwifery clinics. Our midwives will teach you to put reproductive and primary care concepts into practice.
In 15 credit hours of coursework, you’ll study midwifery topics, like reproductive physiology and gynecologic care, so you’re prepared to treat patients.
