In this program, you’ll take three years of prerequisites at CU Denver. These classes give you a foundational knowledge of science and math, covering topics like anatomy, physiology, algebra, and psychology. You’ll also take general studies classes like creative arts and English composition.
When you come to CU Nursing, our classes build on the foundation you gained in your prerequisite classes and focus more on healthcare and nursing. You'll study topics including pathophysiology, nursing research, and nursing care for children and families.
