No. Out-of-state residents can apply. Our DNP program is part of the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP), and Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), so permanent residents of a Western Interstate Commission of Higher Education state or territory may be eligible for doctoral education at CU Anschutz Nursing at the in-state tuition rate.

The DNP Project series is required to earn your degree. Over a period of four semesters, you’ll identify, develop, and implement a quality improvement or program evaluation project that addresses systems-level practice or patient issues.
