Megan Champion is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner working at the community clinic at Sheridan Health Services since 2018. Prior to Sheridan, Champion worked at a private family practice in Centennial, CO honing her family medicine skills before returning to work with an underserved and medically complex population. Champion is a bilingual provider working closely with Latino immigrants with complex medical issues. She specializes in women’s health and is certified in contraceptive procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal as well as endometrial and cervical biopsy.
Champion graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Spanish in 2007. She worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Colorado Hospital for nearly a decade, from 2007-2016. Champion graduated from the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing in 2015 with a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner program. She lives in Littleton with her husband and two children.
