Julia Kelley is a certified nurse-midwife and board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with the University Nurse Midwives at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus. She completed her graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania, with clinical placements at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and in Auckland, New Zealand.
Her path to midwifery has included work as a birth doula in San Francisco and Columbus, Peace Corps service in Madagascar, and nursing in reproductive health care. Julia is committed to respectful, evidence-based care grounded in listening, building relationships, and supporting patients in making informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include reproductive health, pregnancy and birth, and postpartum care.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys hiking, biking, knitting, exploring natural dyes, and learning Spanish.
