Cristina McAfee teaches undergraduate nursing students, focusing on adult health, and is passionate about helping them develop clinical judgment, confidence, and safe decision-making in complex healthcare environments.
Cristina brings over 20 years of experience in critical care nursing, military service, and nursing education to the classroom.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing Education at the University of Northern Colorado, where her research focuses on clinical judgment development, nursing education, and supporting students as they transition from novice toward competent practice.
