Babette McQueen MSN, FNP-BC, CPNP, RN

Babette earned a BSN from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, then spent a number of years working in various RN settings while also raising her three children. When the youngest left for college, she returned to the University of Texas Medical Branch to earn her MSN with a specialty as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, then a post-Master's Certificate and her Family Nurse Practitioner credentials from the University of Texas Health Science Center.

As a dual certified PNP and FNP, Babette has worked in a variety of settings, including school-based health, community health, and most recently, providing care to diplomats in US Embassies across the world as a Foreign Service Specialist. She is passionate about mentoring new NPs and serves as both an FNP preceptor and site visitor.
