Sarah Schwartz DNP, MSN, RN, CNE, CHSE

Sarah is an assistant teaching professor in the undergraduate nursing program. Sarah’s practice background focuses on maternal health, working primarily as a labor & delivery nurse and perinatal clinical research nurse. As an educator, Sarah strives to empower students to become the best versions of themselves while inspiring future nurses to become lifelong learners who provide compassionate, competent nursing care to the people they serve. Sarah is student-centered and works with her students to build their confidence while holding them to a standard of excellence. She believes in the importance of cultivating an engaging, mutually respectful, and caring environment in the classroom. She is confident that students learn best when they are supported and cared for. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time in the mountains with her family.
