Pamela Swendseid FNP, MN, MAMCH

Pamela has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 22 years. She completed a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2007. Since 2016 she has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Counselor at Sheridan Health Services. Prior to joining Sheridan Health Services, she worked in a busy family practice for Arizona Community Physicians in Tucson, Arizona and at Gila Valley Clinic in Safford, Arizona. While in Safford, she ran a satellite prenatal clinic in Morenci, Arizona. She also lived and volunteered as a nurse practitioner in Copiapo, Chile at the Hospital Regional de Copiapo for 5 years. Her specialty is the integration of mental health counseling into primary care with a special focus on substance use disorders including MAT.

She has a BSN and MN in Rural Nursing with a Maternal-Child focus from Montana State University, and has worked in small rural hospitals in northern Idaho and Colorado prior to becoming an FNP. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Colorado Nursing Association, and American Nursing Association.
