Hisae Tsurumi WHNP, AG-PCNP

I have been caring for patients as a Nurse Practitioner since completing my clinical training at Vanderbilt University in 2016. I am board certified as both a WHNP and AGPCNP. Most recently I have divided my time between direct patient care and developing innovative clinical programming for a local public health sexual health clinic.

My dedication to advancing health equity and women’s empowerment comes from an understanding of the crucial role of women in society, solidified through my travels and volunteer work. My love of nursing comes from my family of professional nurses who have encouraged and supported my professional journey. I have a special interest in collaborative community-based programming that addresses system and social disparities in healthcare access, utilization, and quality.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join an expert team where I can continue to deepen my knowledge, collaborate alongside colleagues, and make a positive impact on individuals lives’ and the health of my community.
