DEADLINE: Spring Population Health Clinical Experience for Grad & Undergrad Students

Graduate and undergraduate nursing students will experience the reality of caring for people in a low-resource setting during this clinical experience. Students will partner with Guatemalan colleagues working in and around the Trifinio clinic. This clinic is a CU affiliate that was developed to support a multidisciplinary model for clinical practice, education, and research. Students will have opportunities to work alongside the Trifinio staff and graduate nursing students as they make home visits, provide prenatal care, and conduct community health educational programs. Students will learn strategies to effectively advocate on behalf of patients, families, and underserved people to challenge policies that create health disparities.
