The demand for well-trained and prepared nurses is increasing, as is the demand for high-quality nursing education. Many factors come into play when deciding to enroll in a nursing program. One of the most important, yet often overlooked, factors is whether or not a nursing program is accredited. Because your nursing education will cost you money, time, and effort, you must have faith in the program you select.
You could have started researching and comparing tuition, rankings, and curriculum differences when considering enrolling in nursing school. You may have already attended some schools. However, whether or not the program is accredited is an important consideration.
