Dr. Marks started her nursing career as a neonatal intensive care nurse. After several years, she transitioned to pediatric emergency care. Her nurse practitioner experience includes pediatric emergency care, pediatric pulmonary care, and pediatric neurology. She has been teaching ACPNP students since 2007 at Rush University. Dr. Marks was part of a team that started the ACPNP program at CU in 2014, and officially joined the faculty as an assistant professor and ACPNP specialty director in 2021.
