Lori Jackson DNP, MPH, RN, CCRN

Dr. Lori Jackson joined the College of Nursing in 2014 and currently teaches in the undergraduate nursing program. During her time at the college, she has held the roles of UCAN Coordinator, UCEC Chair and student advisor. She earned Master of Nursing with emphasis in Healthcare Leadership from Jacksonville University, her DNP from the University of Colorado, and MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health.

Critical Care nursing has been the focus of her career and Dr. Jackson continues to maintain her CCRN certification. She has worked as an ICU staff and charge RN at many local hospitals, a critical care travel RN, and continues to work in on a per diem basis as a local agency RN.

Dr. Jackson has a passion for mentorship and works with new graduate nurses across the country through the StaRN program to ensure they are prepared for their first nursing roles. In addition to her CCRN, she is an instructor and course director for ACLS and BLS. She maintains memberships with Sigma Theta Tau and the Association for Critical Care Nurses.
