Kelly graduated with her MSN in midwifery from the University of Colorado in 2021. Prior to joining the CU College of Nursing, Center for Midwifery, she was a nurse for 12 years working in multiple specialties including oncology and hospice as well as labor and delivery and women’s health. These experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded provider who enjoys caring for patients. Kelly has a special interest in mental health and is pursuing the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program in the fall. In addition, she is enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing program at the University of Colorado.
Kelly is passionate about supporting health and healing through providing a supportive birth experience, personal connection, shared decision-making, open communication, empowerment, and evidence-based care. She believes it is a privilege and an honor to serve her community in such a nurturing way.
Outside of midwifery, Kelly enjoys yoga, camping and hiking, reading and hanging out with her husband, three children (17, 8 and 6) and dog.
