Dr. Yuki Asakura-Strempek is an experienced clinical nurse scientist in large healthcare systems. Her specialties are palliative care and oncology, and she is currently the president of the Metro Denver Oncology Nursing Society. As a nurse scientist, she has supported the Magnet® program by conducting multiple nursing and multidisciplinary research studies. She has also developed an infrastructure to support evidence-based practice (EBP) and nursing research at the health-system level. Dr. Asakura-Strempek has served as principal investigator (PI), research advisor, and statistician to support nursing research studies.
