Traditional Pathway Admission Requirements and Application Process

Admission to the University of Colorado College of Nursing's Traditional bachelor of science program (TRAD) is competitive. To keep the selection process fair, admission requirements are definitive and applied to each application in the same manner. Please keep in mind that applications are not reviewed until they are received and coded as ‘verified’ in NursingCAS.

Students requiring an F-1 visa are encouraged to contact the Office of International Admission prior to starting the TRAD application.

Question : Negative Drug Screen

Negative drug screens are required of all admitted students.

Students who take legally prescribed medication (see note regarding marijuana below) that may result in a positive drug screen need to contact American Databank/Complio (http://uccollegeofnursingcompliance.com) before completing the drug screen to inquire about necessary steps.

Note that marijuana usage, regardless of type of usage (recreational or medicinal), is strictly prohibited.
