Patricia Hughes BC-DNP

Patricia earned her Master’s degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her doctorate in nursing practice from Regis University. She specializes in adult care. She has worked for Sheridan Health Services since 2015 as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Patricia has also worked for InnovAge in the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) since 2016.

Patricia has shared her expertise by serving as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students at the Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). Patricia developed a pamphlet on the pros and cons of the prostate cancer-screening test, which was distributed to eastern Colorado VAMC clinics.

Patricia was born and raised in New Jersey and has two sons and two granddaughters. She enjoys going for long walks, watching movies, reading and listening to jazz. She is also in the process of teaching herself Spanish.
