OVERVIEW

This goal of this conference is to offer an exchange of knowledge and sharing of experiences that will enable attendees to improve the care and assistance provided to Veterans/Military Service Members, and their families.

Conference planning committee includes representation from various academic, clinical, and service organizations including:  

  • The University of Colorado College of Nursing Anschutz Medical Campus
  • The University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Anschutz Medical Campus
  • The University of Colorado Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center
  • The University of Colorado Marcus Institute for Brain Health 
  • The University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology/Military Psychology
  • The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
  • The Rocky Mountain MIRECC Suicide Prevention Program
  • Community Partners

Veterans and Military Service Members and their families*, healthcare professionals, community services providers, spiritual counselors and community members interested in supporting Veteran & Military Service Members

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Registered Nurses and APRNs
Nursing (CNPD Credit - will include pharmacology hours):

An application to provide nursing continuing professional development credit (formerly CNE) has been submitted.  This site will be updated once approval is received. 

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is approved as a provider of continuing nursing professional development by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  

A Nursing Continuing Professional Development certificate will be emailed to participants within 30 days after the conference.
