Emily earned her BS in Psychology and Nursing from San Diego State University in California. She worked as an RN at Rady Children's Hospital, and then at Kaiser Permanente before returning to school for her Masters. She received her MSN from the University of San Diego with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2011.

Emily's Nurse Practitioner experience includes pediatrics, OBGYN, urgent care, developmental pediatrics, and family practice. She is currently working at Sheridan Family Health, Sheridan School based Clinic.
