Emily Gamm, LCSW, CACII, ACS is faculty at the University of Colorado's College of Nursing's clinic practice site CU-Sheridan Health Services in the Family Health Clinic. In that role, Emily provides direct care as a Behavioral Health Provider and co-ordinates Master's level trainees as the Behavioral Health Trainee Program Coordinator. Emily is licensed as both an Licensed Clinical Social Work and Certified Addiction Counselor II. Recently she was accredited as an Approved Clinical Supervisor. In her role at CU-SHS, Ms. Gamm also coordinates all of the Integrated Care aspects of the practice and is especially passionate about maximizing multi-disciplinary team based care to treat the whole person. Other areas of interest include enhancing trauma based treatment, culturally responsive practice, social justice practice and education, and workforce development. Emily has presented nationally on workforce development and the Master's Level BH Trainee program at CU-SHS.

Ms. Gamm completed her concentration year clinical rotation at CU-SHS during her Master's in Social Work and has remained committed to the organization ever since. Prior to entering the social work profession, Emily was a high school teacher for youth with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. She feels especially fortunate to marry her passion for education with clinical practice in her work at The College of Nursing.

Ms. Gamm earned a BA in Theology and Philosophy. She went on to do considerable course work toward an MA in Religious Studies and earned her MSW in Social Work from The University of Denver.
